GSK Corporate Funding

Providing funding to organizations who share our special purpose to get ahead of disease together

GSK provides financial support to organizations that:

  • Foster an increased understanding of scientific, clinical, healthcare, and community issues
  • Have a general interest in progressing the prevention, treatment, and management of disease
  • Contribute to improving patient care and quality of life

Independent Medical Education (IME)

GSK provides financial support for independent medical education for US healthcare professionals, including certified continuing medical education (CME, CE). More details regarding eligible organizations, review criteria, disease areas of interest, and submission dates are included in the Call for Grant Applications (CGA) available on our US IME website.

Community Investment/Charitable Contributions

GSK provides financial support for community needs and charitable efforts. More details regarding programmatic focus areas, eligibility guidelines, and submission dates are available on our US Charitable Investments website. Requests submitted outside of our grant submission dates will not be approved.

Other Grants GSK Supports

GSK provides financial support for an organization's priorities and initiatives in an area of focus that includes patient education/advocacy, independent patient assistance, public policy, legislative, business, civic, healthcare quality, or scientific efforts. GSK receives acknowledgement of funding but no substantial benefits.

Corporate Sponsorships

GSK provides financial support for an organization's area of focus and receives substantial benefits and can appropriately engage with or provide educational information to the members of the organization. Such opportunities should be offered to multiple supporters and often have multiple support tiers with varying levels of substantial benefits.

Corporate Memberships

GSK provides financial support for corporate membership and engagement with the organization that fosters the organization's area of focus. Varying support levels/tiers of associated benefits are often offered depending on the membership level.

Hospital/University/
AMC/Foundation

Academic Medical Center (AMC) is an accredited medical school or academic hospital in which a majority of the healthcare professionals are faculty members and focused on patient care

Medical Education Company

Organization that is accredited by a national accrediting body to provide medical education for healthcare professionals

HCP Association/Society

Non-profit professional membership organization for healthcare professionals (HCP) that represents their interests by providing information and services, support for increased medical research, and/or access to healthcare

Scientific Association/Society

Non-profit professional membership organization for scientists and/or organizations that exists to promote a scientific or academic discipline

Patient Advocacy/Support Group

Non-profit organization that represents the interest of patients by providing information and services, support for increased medical research, and/or support for increased access to quality care

Public Policy Group

Non-profit non-governmental organization that aims to improve the public policy environment as a key activity (eg, single interest groups, think tanks, business lobbying groups, trade associations)

Trade Association

Non-profit organization that represents the interest or objectives of a group of local/national business and civic organizations joined together to collectively advance the mission of social welfare

Healthcare Quality Organization

Non-profit organization that works to improve healthcare quality through the administration of evidence-based standards, measures, programs, and accreditation

Business Coalition

Non-profit organization that supports the mission and objectives of a group of local/national business and civic organizations joined together to collectively advance the mission of social welfare

Independent Patient Assistance Foundation

Non-profit organization that provides co-pay support or other assistance for patient access to medications

Community-Based Charitable Organization

Non-profit organization that meets our programmatic focus areas, eligibility guidelines, and submission dates specified on our US Charitable Investments website; organization registration requests outside of our posted submission dates will not be approved

Other

Non-profit organization not described by one of the above types

If your organization is not already registered (or if you are unsure), please follow these steps:

Visit the GSK Request Management System and click the "I’m Ready to Register" button.

Enter your organization's information and click the "Search" button. This will help you see if your organization has already been registered with GSK.

You will be prompted to enter your organization information to proceed with registration and your unique user information and email address to set up your account.

You will be prompted to enter your unique user information and email address for access to the system.

You will be notified that your email address is already in use. If you don't remember your password, please click "Forgot your password?" to reset your password for access to the system. If you don't receive the email to reset your password in your Inbox, please check your Spam/Junk email folder.

What happens after I register?

We will review all submitted information upon organization registration and render a decision to determine eligibility to submit funding requests to GSK. We commit to validating organization registrations as quickly as possible. Please consider this registration requirement in the timeline for submitting a funding request, as organization validation is required prior to funding request submission.
